Welcome, Bienvenu, اهلاً وسهلاً

Mover. Shaker. Creator. Educator

Welcome to my Teacher Website and Graphic Design Portfolio.

My Name is Nassab Ahmadie

I’m thrilled to invite you to peruse my past work, design skills, and professional experience,

while getting to know a bit more about me.

My journey into education has been shaped by personal experience, cultural heritage, and a lifelong curiosity about how people learn and create. Born in Lebanon, my early years were shaped by the realities of war, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for education, resilience, and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

My academic path began with a BS in Biology and a BA in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design. While my studies began in both the sciences and the arts, my professional career was mainly graphic design and photography, where creativity, visual communication, and storytelling come together. After working in the field for over 15 years, an unexpected opportunity to substitute teach introduced me to the classroom environment.

Through that experience, I discovered that my greatest passion was not only creating art, but helping students understand and explore it. What began as a temporary experience inspired me to return to school to pursue my Master of Arts in Teaching in Art Education and become certified to teach art in Georgia.

Teaching allowed me to bring together my interests in art, design, science, culture, and creative problem-solving in ways that make learning meaningful and engaging.

By integrating global perspectives into my curriculum, I aim to foster empathy, curiosity, and a sense of interconnectedness among my students.

Having worked with both middle and high school students, I value the unique growth that happens at each level. My goal is to help students build confidence, critical thinking, creativity, and a deeper understanding of visual communication.

Ultimately, I hope to inspire students to become thoughtful creators and lifelong learners who understand the powerful role art plays in shaping how we see ourselves and the world around us.Whether in middle school or high school, the pioneering spirit of curiosity, creativity, and discovery is the same, and it is this spirit that I hope to nurture in every student I teach.
